buy the latest issue of seventeen magazine, with beyonce on the front. even if you dont like the magazine itself, this month the nutrition section is all about what your looking for. it lists tons of the most classic holiday treats and tells you how many times a week you can eat them without gaining! it’s really helpful!

Is food really the only way you can enjoy Christmas?
Suggestions: Identify a new Christmas tradition that involves activity. Anything. Jogging, jump rope, bicycle… "But, it’s cold…" try indoor stair climbing; even a single stair (up and down). Before you have the food in front of you set rules for yourself. Limit your intake to a reasonable share. Try maintaining the same number of calories that you always have with the Christmas selection of foods. Avoid all-day snacking. We all tend to snack more when it is in front of us. Avoid the kitchen except the 3 to 4 times you have to have a meal.
