Where can I donate used christmas cards fronts? I hate to throw them away. If anybody makes crafts out of them, I can ship them to you free or if you know other people/charities who could use them, let me know.
In the UK supermarkets and a number of shops will take them for recycling, if they are not the kind you could pass on (I don't know where you are).

Check with some senior living communites or women"s shelters. They maybe able to use them for crafts that they make to help support themselves. (my granny used to laminate the cards and crochet them together to make baskets and chrismas wall hangings!)

There is a place in my community called Art From Scrap – which is just as its name implies. It takes donations from all sorts from industrial scrap to used x-mas cards. Local schools and youth groups can get material for no charge, and its also open to the public who pay for items, but its CHEAP!
Anyway, you should see if you have a similar business in your area.

Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Nursery Schools, Elementary Schools, Church Groups and Boys/Girls Clubs all will be able to make use of the cards but probably won’t want to store them until next year. I would approach any one of these groups, but not until November of next year.

If anyone still has any used christmas cards, i’ll happily take them off you, to re-use them, for gift tags.
