Our baby is due in January, so everyone already knows. I'm trying to think of creative christmas cards that do something fun with being pregnant, large tummy, etc. Any ideas?
wow - thanks so much for the great ideas! these are much better than any I found on my previous searches! ![]()
Good question...I'll be checking out all the answers. I am thinking of using my ultrasound photo in my christmas cards (we are due in Feb) but was trying to come up with something a bit more interesting
EDIT// you got me thinking so I went and played around in photoshop with my ultrasound pic and put a santa hat on the profile pic we got. It looks pretty cute

Our daughter was born December 5th, so we chose cards that said "Unto us a Child is Born" (of course playing off the birth of Christ), you could do that then on the inside say something like "but not until next month!"

I wouldn’t do anything wild but maybe a pretty picture of you and hubby, you wearing a nice top that still shows off your shape. Wear red maybe. I am sure you could have holiday pix done at wal-mart or something (with the backround).
You can use these pics as the cover of your card (kind of like homemade cards) at a stationary store you can buy card that you slip your own photo into.

i was going to suggest the ultrasound picture idea, i would enjoy receiving that if one of my family members were pregnant.

hmmm… maybe just a nice pic of you and your husband enjoying your holiday before the baby comes and a caption that reads…. "silent night… for now!"
