That is very nice of you, I like wise do the same but I go to a hospital. There is unfortunately a lot of kids in there and they have to stay there for Christmas. It is sad because I didn’t address them and when I delivered them to the kids personally the parents were very pleased. That is one way how you can brighten their day. I would call your local hospital to ask if it is possible. Unless you are sending them as Santa you can send them. Not sure if you could get Prison addresses not sure.

For prisoners, you can get addresses on prison websites. Just look for the prisons in your area. Be careful not to send to anyone who has been violent or done anything to children, though.
If you’re looking for the less fortunate in your community, find the soup kitchen. You’ll find lots of homeless people there. Churches will also be able to help.

The Troops fighting that whatever it is in Iraq. Poor people sent to do a duty that I have no idea why or what USA is doing in Iraq. Maybe they do, but I know the Troops are good people, and are risking thier lives for those of us that cannot fight.
Send them to the Paper Recycling Plant, the employees will love them, then make new stuff with them rather than cutting down more trees.

Well, I guess you could go to to the local Good Will or Salvation Army and ask them there how you would distribute the cards or gifts there. Just common sense, I guess.
