Christmas Cards Archives

Because people in England have snowy scenes, and Father Christmas dressed in big woolly suits. But surely since it's summer at xmas there, Father Christmas would boil in a suit like that.

Do they not have snowmen, or snowflakes? or snow covered houses on their cards?

Yes,I have relatives there and we get cards with snowmen and santa on them.I like the first answer best though.

Well some of the Christmas cards I received by mail are sitting right here on the computer desk. So yeah I have a lot of empty envelopes which tend to look junky. What do you do with your envelopes?

Throw it away, but be sure there isn't a needed Crisp $100 dollar bill in it first.

How much to charge for handmade christmas cards?

So, i am making about 5o christmas cards for a neighbor and i was wondering how much to charge for each card...or everything all together

The general rule is to work out exactly what it costs to make them then double it. That is just a starting price to work with, if a lot of time and effort goes into them add a bit more.

I want to congratulate christmas to some Ambassadors and Businessmen. Please suggest a famous, formal sentence, inorder to be written in some cards. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I take it that English is not your first language and that you are not from a country who celebrates Christmas but you recognize that these people do .

Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Now that I live in Toronto I would like to send home Christmas cards with nice winter scenes from where I am. I can't find any anywhere. Any ideas, or will I have to make my own?

make your own?

There's a guy at school I'm in love with, I'm really shy but I still want to wish him a merry christmas. Thanks to a little research, I found his address and want to send him anonymously a little Christmas Card.

Would it come off stalkerish and creepy? I personally love getting greeting cards, but well... I don't know about this XD

It's anonymous, it's fine. He'll never know, right? I know if I got a christmas card fromm a ? person, I'd be flattered and overjoyed. It's not stalkerish or creepy at all, you are just wishing him a merry christmas.

I have 20 Christmas Cards that I need to write for tomorrow, a few of them for people I've had dealings with but no personal experiences with (Most of my friends' cards have little memories in them)
What are some good things to include to tell the person I am wishing them a happy holiday, plus a little bit more without actually just limiting myself to "Happy Holidays"

Thank you so much!

May your Christmas be filled with family and love.

I'm not done with my Christmas cards yet and I am wondering what the last day to get them in the mail to ensure they will be delivered ontime.

December 19th is the last day to send First Class Mail to guarantee delivery before December 25th.

I haven't been able to figure out save the dates and realized that since I have to do Christmas cards anyways I might as well make it a 2 in 1 deal... I am doing pretty traditional christmas cards and wanted to add a magnet inside that says save the date but I want the wording on the card to somehow mention that we are newly engaged... HELP! I dont know what to do!?!

You do realize that the weight of the magnet will add to your postage cost? Why don't you just type out a half-page note on very pretty light parchment paper and tuck it inside the card. "Christmas 2008 will be extra special for us this year because we can finally announce that we're engaged to be married in Baton Rouge on June 11, 2009. Please save the date as invitations will be mailed in mid-April.
